This item just arrived yesterday. I took it out and used it for the 1st time this morning. I've used an older model at work and the coffee was always delicious. The best thing about this model is that you aren't restricted to using only the coffee sold specifically for this coffee maker. They have a filter that you replace (easily) so that you can use your own fresh ground coffee. This is great since there is a high end cafe' downtown that sells rare high end coffee. You are not limited to coffee, you can also brew tea and hot chocolate. It has an adjust temperature setting to brew your coffee at a lower temperature. If your anything like me and hate waiting 10 minutes for your coffee to cool down, this is a blessing. The design also looks great in my kitchen.
